Welcome! I’m Kiana Moore, the proud founder of The Flush Bar. My journey into juicing began in 2014 when my mother was diagnosed with breast cancer, and my grandmother faced challenges with urinary cancer and arthritis. Witnessing their struggles and the pain associated with their treatments ignited my passion for research, especially since there was no family history of cancer in our family.
In 2016, I received my own unexpected diagnosis of Hidradenitis Suppurativa (HS), a condition that had no familial precedent. While it was mild during my early college years, it became more pronounced after graduation. A serious car accident further complicated my health, leading to knee issues, early-onset arthritis, and eventually knee surgery in 2021. As I began experiencing similar pain in my other knee, diagnosed as Patella Alta Deformity and Slight Lateral Patellar Subluxation, I sought natural ways to alleviate my symptoms.
My goal was clear: to discover natural remedies to help myself, support my mother through her cancer journey, and ease my grandmother's arthritis. Although we all enjoyed fruits and vegetables, I recognized the challenge of incorporating them into our meals. That’s when I stumbled upon cold-pressed juicing.
In 2022, after years of research and experimentation, I launched my business. I started by making small drinks for myself and quickly noticed positive changes, including weight loss and reduced inflammation. I designed my first drink that year, creating a special blend specifically for my grandmother’s arthritis.
As I continued my studies in herbalism, I expanded my journey into farming, growing my own fruits and vegetables for my juices and cultivating medicinal herbs. This endeavor also allowed me to address my daughter's health issues, which included sinus problems, colds, flu, obstructive sleep apnea, asthma, and sensitive skin. I began crafting natural medicinal products like body wash, teas, herbal syrups, and salves for healing, even creating tinctures to alleviate allergies.
Through consistent use, I observed significant improvements for both my daughter and myself. This experience made me realize that these natural remedies could benefit others in our community who face similar health challenges, often relying on over-the-counter or name-brand products.
Today, my juicing business, The Flush Bar, sources only the highest quality, hand-selected produce from local farmers’ markets. Our juices are free from artificial colors, preservatives, and high-fructose corn syrup, ensuring a pure and healthy experience. Additionally, my herbal company, Root Remedies, reflects my commitment to sharing these natural solutions with everyone seeking a healthier, more holistic approach to wellness.
